FIREARMS & AMMUNITION TERMS
AMMUNITION RESTRICTIONS
Arizona State Law requires the purchaser of ammunition to be over the age of 18. All federal, state and local laws will be complied with for ammunition sales. Many states have additional requirements for the purchase of ammunition. It is the buyer’s responsibility to know if they can purchase or receive ammunition purchased from out of state sources.
PAYPAL RESTRICTIONS
PayPal prohibits all account users from transactions involving firearms, ammunition or certain firearm parts. NO PAYPAL PAYMENTS
FIREARMS MAGAZINES
Many States limit the number or rounds that a magazine is allowed to accept. Make sure that you can transfer, own and/or possess the magazines in your jurisdiction before placing a bid. Magazines that accept over 10rds will not be shipped to prohibited jurisdictions.
FIREARMS RESTRICTIONS
Federal & Arizona State Law requires the purchaser of any firearm (Rifles, Shotguns, Pistols) to be at least 21 years of age when buying from an FFL Dealer. ID is required when picking up and applying for transfer. The winning bidder of the firearm must be the person picking up the firearm. Rifle and shotgun purchasers between ages of 18 to 21 years of age are required to go through a NICS enhanced background check.
STRAW PURCHASES
NO straw purchases allowed. A straw purchase is when a buyer purchases a firearm meant for another person to possess. Only the winning bidder is allowed to purchase the firearm(s) and will be required to complete a form 4473 for the transfer of said firearm(s).
FFL DEALER/RESELLER INFO
Qualified tax-exempt sales can only be applied to current FFL dealers. Dealer must provide a copy of the FFL for transfer along with the form 5000 or 5000A from AZDOR.
FFL TRANSFER FEE
All FFL transfers will be charged $25 per firearm unless multiple firearms are processed at the same time. Transfer fee is NON-REFUNDABLE and will be forfeited upon a denial under any cause or reason. (Purchase of firearm will be voided upon denial and refund will be issued)
FIREARM PICK-UP
Appointment only for pick-up/FFL transfer for all firearms sold. FFL transfer and firearms pick-up to take place at our Prescott warehouse, 565 EZ Street Suite 3C, Prescott, AZ 86301.
OUT-OF-STATE/SHIPPING
All Federal, state and local laws will be complied with for firearms. Make sure that you can transfer, own and/or possess the firearms in your jurisdiction before placing a bid.
Quad City Auctions reserves the right to terminate any sale that requests shipping if out-of-state guidelines are not followed: Shipping of ammunition is available via FedEx or UPS ground services with special labeling. Shipping of firearms is determined 1st by firearm type (handgun or rifle) and then dictated by services allowing for each type. It is possible overnight delivery is required by shipping service. ALL firearms will ONLY be shipped to verified FFL dealers – NO EXCEPTIONS. Insurance will be added to all packages for full value of purchase amount. All costs incurred are due from the buyer.
