2010 Ford Crown Vic Police Interceptor
THE GOOD: This was a police car in its earlier life. The car appears to be well maintained, but has its unique past life features and scars. Recent work completed was a rear-end swap, new brakes and a window regulator. A new stereo replaced the stock one (which is currently in the back seat area). The trunk space is HUGE and still has the police sliding drawer with a full-size spare mounted on it. All in all this car is not a beauty queen, but a strong running hot rod of a sedan that will have people moving out of your way when you come up behind them.
THE BAD: The paint looks a bit unprofessional to say the least. There is a missing rear passenger side door panel, and the inside door hardware for both rear doors is no longer present (only opens from the outside). There are a lot of voided areas where equipment was mounted, be it on the roof, the floor, the dash or the door....it's indicative of a decommissioned police vehicle. The ABS light is on. The A/C blows cool, not icy. The driver's door power seat controls do not appear to work. As with any newly purchased vehicle, we recommend taking it to your favorite mechanic to get the once over for safety and maintenance.
